My accountant and I do not always communicate well on intention. For this reason, I liberally use the memo field on checks and other items to make sure she understands WHY I am writing a check to the bank (I might have two loans, tax payments and deposits from one account to another). I put my intention into the memo field and then she knows the reason that the money moved.
Since these memos are best used for my monthly accountant review, having them appear in an accountant's report of checks would even be cooler.
As far as I can tell, there is no way to add notes or memos to deposits and payments. Is that something I am missing or something that might be added in version 220.127.116.11.18.104.22.168.22.214.171.124.3 (okay, I am being facetious on the version number!)?
