Item purchased and activated but doesn't work

I purchased the Invoice Number Override Add-on and activated it. It worked for a short period and doesn't work now. Any suggestions how to get it working again?

Go to Billing->Setup Receivables->Company Options and verify that the "Allow Override of Invoice Number" box is checked. Also make sure it is still listed as being active in Admin->Admin Setup->Add-ons & Plug-ins.

Please let me know if it is still not working.
